Over the last few years, I've been referred to Northern Colorado Endodontics (NCE) several times by my dentist. I think I'm up to four root canals and one apicoectomy. This last time was for a root canal. There are four endodontists at NCE, but I've only seen Dr. Galen Geraets. I've been to both the Fort Collins and Greeley offices. I've had the same great experience every time. The endodontist, assistants, and office staff have always been very cordial. They've answered all my questions. Prior to having had the root canals, I had always heard that they were painful. This has not matched my experience. The dental infections which caused me to need the root canals were very painful but the procedures to fix them were not. Except for minor pain with the shot, there was no pain during the procedures. I've had very minor soreness afterwards. Dr. Geraets cares very much about patient comfort. Of course, I'd prefer not to need further endodontic treatment, but I'm glad that Dr. Geraets is available if I do. I highly recommend his office.
