After suffering ear, jaw, neck & tooth pain for more than a month during the pandemic... I reached out to this clinic at the direction of my dentist. I’ve previously had successful root canals w/ Dr. LeValley, but this time I nearly cried when they told me they could get me in and treated on the same day I called to request an appointment. The entire team is so wonderful and attentive, from the first phone call, to the gentle manner of care in treatment, to the education regarding all aspects of aftercare following a procedure. Amid all the new guidelines, they are taking every precaution... staggering patients as well as carefully sterilizing the waiting room and clinic surfaces between patients. I am so grateful to be be able to sleep through the night again, that I truly wished I could have hugged everyone on my way out the door! THANK YOU ALL !!!

Look, anyone who's going to get a root canal for the first time or 5th time....this is the place to go. Seriously. It's a beautiful office - looks sort of like a spa, actually. Ha! And the process for your average root canal is quite fast! It's like a "glorified" tooth-filling, if ya ask me. As far as cost, I imagine they're competitively priced. I have pretty good dental insurance so I don't usually see a bill. Anyway....go see them! You won't be disappointed! Honest!!

Superb practice in terms of both medical expertise and staff professionalism. Several years ago I had a root canal to treat a lesion in one of my teeth, which mostly kept the problem at bay but never conclusively "cured" it. Recently it had begun to act up again and also developed an infection and needed to be re-treated, and my dentist referred me to NCE. At the time my insurance did not cover them, but I called their office frequently to try to determine whether or not it was worth upgrading my dental plan so that I could see them. Their staff was always incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helped me figure things out (I cannot say the same of the staff at any other office I called). In the meantime I saw several other dental care providers - including another endodontist - all of whom suggested either procedures that were not likely to be effective long-term, or extracting the tooth altogether. This seemed far too drastic to me, as the tooth and surrounding area were not at all swollen or painful. When I finally saw Dr. Troxel at NCE, he easily identified a technique that would treat the infection and advancing lesion, as well as extend the life of the natural tooth. The surgery was quick and painless, and he and his assistant were efficient and communicative throughout. Afterwards I had very minimal pain and swelling, and no post-operative bleeding. I'd had several oral surgeries of varying intensity in the past, and have always had moderate swelling and bleeding in the first few days following the procedure. The fact that I didn't experience any of that after my procedure at NCE is, I think, a sign of a skilled surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Troxel and NCE; don't waste your time and money anywhere else.

No one likes a root canal. But, I highly recommend Northern Colorado Endodontics if you find yourself in need of one. I was treated by Dr. Alex Troxel in the Longmont office on 15th Street. Very professional, patient and personable. Three shots of Novocaine and I didn't really feel any of them, including the one on my palate. Good communication and great service. A big thank you!

Not only did Dr. Geraets perform the procedure professionally and effectively, he was more than understanding with me. My anxiety was through the roof, and he was very patient and kind. Dr. Geraets took the time to listen to my worries and concerns, patiently calmed me down, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I would absolutely recommend him and this office.

I had to have an urgent root canal performed. I absolutely felt cared for and about from the moment my call was answered on the first ring. I billing and insurance went VERY well. As for my surgeon: I actually fell asleep during the Root Canal!

I developed a very unhealthy and painful root infection that evolved over the weekend. I camped out at my general DDS Monday morning seeking some respite from the discomfort. After an x-ray, it was determined that a root canal was necessary immediately. Northern Colorado Endodontics was THE place recommended and they were able to schedule me Monday afternoon-same day treatment. The explanations, care, and professional treatment started at the front desk, carried into the opportory and was finished with the financial check out. The office and staff put me at ease for a root canal-which was a first for me. The final endorsement for the office came from my wife-a dental hygienist of 30+ years. I would recommend this office for any endodontic work needed.

Best dentist appointment ever and it was a root canal! Didn't feel a thing other than a tickle in my nose! Did I mention that I am a dental phobic and have very sensitive teeth.
